Scouting and Guiding

Jennett's Park is fortunate to have its own Guiding and Scouting groups, based at Jennett's Park Community Centre

Girlguiding is currently represented by Rainbows, for girls aged five to seven. Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, trying out cooking and playing games. Rainbows is all about learning by doing.

The local group runs on a Thursday evening. Further information about Rainbows can be found by clicking here. Girlguiding UK operates a central waiting list which can be accessed by clicking here.

Scouting is currently represented by Beavers and Cubs. The Beaver Colony is for 6-8 year old Boys & Girls who meet on a Monday Evening. The Cub Pack is for 8-10 year old Boys and Girls and meet on a Friday Evening. More information can be found by clicking here.

A Scout Troop, for boys and girls aged betwwen 10 and 14 years, will be starting after February half term 2014 on a Friday evening. All groups - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts - meet at the Community Centre
