Community Centre Hire costs

Our hall and meeting rooms are available to hire in blocks of 15 mins from 9am through to 11pm. Hire rates shown are per hour.

 

Set-up and tidying time must be included within the hire times you specify and will be charged at the standard rate. If you run over the time you have booked you will lose part of your insurance/security deposit.

 

 

PLEASE NOTE :: From 1st April 2016 it will not be possible to hire the Main Hall until after 1.0pm and on a Sunday until after 12.30pm

Security / insurance deposit

An ‘insurance deposit’ is taken from hirers to protect the Community Association against any loss or damages suffered by or caused to them as a result of the hire. This may include cleanliness of building, over-running hire time, damage to building, annoyance to neighbours or any breach of our terms and conditions of hire or your hire agreement. Your deposit may be withheld in full or part-returned

 

The deposit is payable not less than 14 days prior to the date of your hire – late payment may result in your hire being cancelled and any monies already paid being forfeited. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure it is paid on time.

 

There are differing rates of ‘insurance deposit’ and are applied as follows ;

Any event where alcohol is sold irrespective of timings - or - any event of the discretion of the JPCA Management Committee

Category A  Charities and voluntary Associations, local education and recreation groups
Category B Private hire : Residents - Jennett's Park, Wykery Copse and Peacock Cottages (non profit)
Category C Private hire : Other than residents in CAT B (non profit)
Category D Commercial and business enterprises, profitable activities
Category E As Category D, but at least 6 hours hire per week
Category Z Special circumstances - agreed by JPCA Management Committee
